Purchased three years ago. Suddenly, during an open water training, it turned off. The application on the computer did not recognize it. After many attempts, it charged. Suddenly, the battery that used to last 1 week now lasted 18 hours. And after 2 weeks, it turned off again. I sent it to the Suunto representative, and after 2 weeks they informed me that they sent the watch to Finland, it was returned, and it cannot be repaired because there is a problem with the circuit. Basically, it's for the trash. The representative told me that they offer me another Suunto (different model) for €220. When I asked them how much a new one costs, they told me €270. So, the watch breaks down after 3 years, and they give me a €50 discount on a new one. They are looking for fools. NEVER AGAIN Suunto. I had Garmin and Polar in the past. Prefer them...
Αγορά προ τριετίας. Ξαφνικά, σε προπόνηση ανοιχτής θαλάσσης έσβησε. Στην εφαρμογή από Η/Υ δεν το αναγνώριζε. Μετά από πολλές προσπάθειες φορτισε. Ξαφνικά η μπαταρία από 1 εβδομάδα διαρκούσε 18 ώρες. Και μετά από 2 εβδομάδες έσβησε ξανά. Το έστειλα στον αντιπρόσωπο της Suunto και μετά από 2 εβδομάδες με ενημέρωσαν ότι έστειλαν το ρολόι Φιλανδία, το επέστρεψαν και δεν μπορεί να διορθωθεί διότι υπάρχει πρόβλημα στο κύκλωμα. Of course, you need to lift your hand out of the water to measure. That means it won't measure in the front in the water like all GPS watches. For measuring heart rate in the water, I would recommend purchasing a HR zone belt. The battery lasts for 1 week with 4-5 hours of GPS usage, heart rate monitoring, and notifications. Don't forget to add GPS and GLONASS or one of the other two to the system.

Η διάρκεια μπαταρίας φτάνει πολλές ώρες με gps ανοικτό γιατί η suunto έχει αλλάξει τον αισθητήρα με νέας τεχνολογίας πολύ οικονομικό σε ενέργεια και με τέλεια ακρίβεια! Σαν σχέδιο και γενικά design (έχω το graphite copper) είναι πανέμορφο και μπορείς να το φορέσεις και σαν καλό ρολόι!! It fits better on the wrist and the functions are exactly the same, to the point where I completely neglected the 9.
The optical heart rate monitor is just as accurate as the 9 since it's the same one!

The battery life is exceptional.
But what really stands out is the graphite copper color.
It's simply amazing!

Μετά απο 2 χρόνια χρήσης έχω να πω τα εξής: Είναι ένα πολύ καλό sportwatch με ακρίβεια στο gps και σε διάφορες άλλες μετρήσεις. Έχει μεγάλη αυτονομία μπαταρίας. Οι smart λειτουργίες του είναι περιορισμένες και δεν τις χρησιμοποιώ (δεν είναι smartwatch). Το χρησιμοποιώ για καταγραφή μετρήσεων σε τρέξιμο και είμαι απόλυτα ικανοποιημένος, τόσο από το ρολόι, όσο και από την εφαρμογή του κινητού suunto app. Τέλος, λόγω εμφάνισης μπορείς να το φοράς οποιαδήποτε ώρα της ημέρας.
Very good application in hand due to its relatively small size. Η διάρκεια μπαταρίας φτάνει πολλές ώρες με gps ανοικτό γιατί η suunto έχει αλλάξει τον αισθητήρα με νέας τεχνολογίας πολύ οικονομικό σε ενέργεια και με τέλεια ακρίβεια! Σαν σχέδιο και γενικά design (έχω το graphite copper) είναι πανέμορφο και μπορείς να το φορέσεις και σαν καλό ρολόι!! Απο εκεί και πέρα είναι multi sport watch και νομίζω απευθύνεται σε αθλητές, δηλαδη έχει μόνο βασικές χρήσεις smartwatch(κλήσεις κ μνμ στην οθόνη) για αυτούς που θέλουν.και λειτουργίες smart.

As the owner of the Suunto 9 Baro, I was pleasantly surprised by the purchase of its smaller sibling in the series.
It fits better on the wrist and the functions are exactly the same, to the point where I completely neglected the 9.
The optical heart rate monitor is just as accurate as the 9 since it's the same one!
Loaded with 80 different sports.
The battery life is exceptional.
But what really stands out is the graphite copper color.
It's simply amazing!
It's a charm on the wrist and everyone asks me about it.
One of the few that can be worn with casual attire.

Κατοχος του suunto 9 baro ,εξεπλαγη θετικα απο την αγορα του μικροτερου αδερφου της σειρας.
Καθεται πιο ωραια στο χερι και οι λειτουργιες ειναι ακριβως η ιδιες, σε σημειο που παραμερισα πληρως το 9.
Ο οπτικος παλμογραφος ακριβεστατος οπως και στο 9 μιας και ειναι ο ιδιος!

Purchased three years ago. Suddenly, during an open water training, it turned off. The application on the computer did not recognize it. After many attempts, it charged. Suddenly, the battery that used to last 1 week now lasted 18 hours. And after 2 weeks, it turned off again. I sent it to the Suunto representative, and after 2 weeks they informed me that they sent the watch to Finland, it was returned, and it cannot be repaired because there is a problem with the circuit. Basically, it's for the trash. The representative told me that they offer me another Suunto (different model) for €220. When I asked them how much a new one costs, they told me €270. So, the watch breaks down after 3 years, and they give me a €50 discount on a new one. They are looking for fools. NEVER AGAIN Suunto. I had Garmin and Polar in the past. Prefer them...
Αγορά προ τριετίας. Ξαφνικά, σε προπόνηση ανοιχτής θαλάσσης έσβησε. Στην εφαρμογή από Η/Υ δεν το αναγνώριζε. Μετά από πολλές προσπάθειες φορτισε. Ξαφνικά η μπαταρία από 1 εβδομάδα διαρκούσε 18 ώρες. Και μετά από 2 εβδομάδες έσβησε ξανά. Το έστειλα στον αντιπρόσωπο της Suunto και μετά από 2 εβδομάδες με ενημέρωσαν ότι έστειλαν το ρολόι Φιλανδία, το επέστρεψαν και δεν μπορεί να διορθωθεί διότι υπάρχει πρόβλημα στο κύκλωμα. Για πέταμα δηλ. Οι αντιπροσωπεία μου είπε ότι μου προσφέρουν άλλο Suunto (άλλο μοντέλο) με 220€. Όταν τους,ρώτησα πόσο έχει καινούργιο μου είπαν 270€ . Δηλ. το ρολόι χαλάει μετά από 3 χρόνια και μου κάνουν έκπτωση 50€ σε καινούργιο. Για κορόιδα ψάχνουν. ΠΟΤΕ ΞΑΝΑ Suunto. Είχα στο παρελθόν Garmin και Polar. Προτιμηστετα...
It is perfect. Tested in running, open water swimming, and cycling. Beautiful and sturdy. High-quality construction. It works perfectly in the water. Of course, you need to lift your hand out of the water to measure. That means it won't measure in the front in the water like all GPS watches. For measuring heart rate in the water, I would recommend purchasing a HR zone belt. The battery lasts for 1 week with 4-5 hours of GPS usage, heart rate monitoring, and notifications. Don't forget to add GPS and GLONASS or one of the other two to the system.
Eίναι τέλειο. Δοκιμασμένο σε τρέξιμο, ανοιχτής θάλασσας κολύμβηση και ποδηλασία. Πανέμορφο και στιβαρό. Ποιοτική κατασκευή. Στη θάλασσα μια χαρά ακριβέστατο είναι. Εννοείται πρέπει να βγαίνει το χέρι απο το νερό για να μετρήσει. Δηλαδή στο πρόσθιο στη θάλασσα δεν θα μετράει όπως και όλα τα gps ρολόγια. Για τη μέτρηση παλμών στη θάλασσα θα συνιστούσα την αγορά ζώνης HR ζώνης. Η μπαταρία κρατάει 1 εβδομαδα με 4-5 ώρες χρήσης gps και καρδιακών παλμών και ειδοποιήσεων. Μη ξεχάσετε να προσθέσετε στο σύστημα gps και glonass ή κάποιο από τα άλλα δύο.
Excellent tool, beautiful. As someone else mentioned, it does not refer to gadgets and is strictly, perhaps I would say, for professional triathletes and athletes in general. Overall, I believe it is worth it, provided you have the money and it is much more of a sport watch than a smartwatch. The GPS initially gave me some trouble, but I found it okay and adjusted it. Since it got the setting for Greek, it is worth 100%. It partially responds to gadgets. After 6 months, I add that I love it because it is beautiful and its usefulness is exactly what I wanted. Εξαιρετικό εργαλείο , πανέρμορφο. όπως αναφέρει και κάποιος άλλος δεν αναφέρεται σε γκατζετακιδες και ειναι αυστηρα ίσως θα ελεγα για επαγγελματιες τριαθλου και ααθληματων γενικά . εγω που δεν ειμαι πχ το απολαμβανω σαν ενα πανεμορφο ρολοι με τα βασικα sport που ηθελα να εχω καταγραφη. γενικά αξίζει πιστεύω με τη προυπόθεση ότι έχεις να διαθέσεις τα χρήματα και να είναι πολυ περισσότερο sportwatch παρα smartwatch. to gps του με ζορισε λιγο στην αρχη αλλα το βρηκα ενταξει κ το ρυθμισα. Από τότε που πήρε τη ρύθμιση για τα ελληνικά αξίζει 100%. Ανταποκρινεται κ σε γκατζετακηδες μερικώς. Μετά απο 6 μήνες προσθέτω πως το αγαπάω γιατί είναι πανέμορφο και η χρηστικότητα του έτσι όπως ακριβως το ήθελα . Τα λεφτά του βέβαια ίσως είναι πολλά και θα ήθελα στο open swimming να λέει τις κουπές.
