    My sister, who had been using them for two years, gave me the headphones because she wanted to get the next model (the XM5s, since the 4s were almost the same), but she was still very satisfied. The headphones are well-made, with a little care they remain like new - of the box. The sound is very good, I enjoy it (okay, there will always be those who say that headphones worth 2500€ are better - good for them), and the best part is the noise isolation (ANC). Simply amazing, I got on the plane and couldn't hear anything, plus because they maintain atmospheric pressure at 1 atm, my ears didn't get blocked during the flight. Their battery life is very good and they also have a cable to function as traditional headphones when they are closed. Overall, very satisfied and if anything happens, I will continue with the XM5s for the warranty that the Sony name carries.

The headphones, after some usage time (or some s.w update, I haven't clarified yet), when in a call and with ANC enabled, pick up sounds from the Mic and play them directly in your ears. The same issue has been reported with XM4 and XM5. You can't make a call for any reason and Sony claims it's a feature and not a bug. 180 euros (on offer) and it's completely bricked

    Extremely good sound quality. To reproduce accurately, a small equalizer modification is needed from the device that streams the sound (ldac is canceled if done by the application or the device itself). Excellent noise canceling and passive sound isolation. Good microphone. Good build quality. Intuitive gimmicks in control. They work with all of these and with a cable (even when inactive, as traditional headphones).

    Negatives: It cancels its own ldac if you add an internal equalizer. In hands-free mode (headphones + microphone), they let in a bit of ambient sound through the speakers, as if you had activated ambient sound at a low level ~ this is hard-coded and unfortunately cannot be changed despite users' complaints. Android devices have issues with their own stream of sound when used in hands-free mode, so good luck bypassing the issue... The touch controls are not very convenient. The microphone does not work through the cable (even if it is TRRS / 3 bands).

    I am a frequent flyer and a good pair of noise-canceling headphones is essential for me. In recent years, I had the Bose ones which I loved because they did their job perfectly and made long flights a breeze (at least when it came to noise). On the last black Friday, I decided to change my mind and try the Sony ones that I had read such rave reviews about... The price of €249 was a big incentive, so I went ahead and bought them. From now on, all I can say is that Bose is amazing until someone tries the Sony ones. Shock and awe! Build quality, unbelievable 360 sound, clear and powerful bass, and the noise-canceling is magical! Clearly one of my best purchases in recent years! Go for it!

    My sister, who had been using them for two years, gave me the headphones because she wanted to get the next model (the XM5s, since the 4s were almost the same), but she was still very satisfied. The headphones are well-made, with a little care they remain like new - of the box. The sound is very good, I enjoy it (okay, there will always be those who say that headphones worth 2500€ are better - good for them), and the best part is the noise isolation (ANC). Simply amazing, I got on the plane and couldn't hear anything, plus because they maintain atmospheric pressure at 1 atm, my ears didn't get blocked during the flight. Their battery life is very good and they also have a cable to function as traditional headphones when they are closed. Overall, very satisfied and if anything happens, I will continue with the XM5s for the warranty that the Sony name carries.

The same issue has been reported with XM4 and XM5. You can't make a call for any reason and Sony claims it's a feature and not a bug. 180 euros (on offer) and it's completely bricked

    Extremely good sound quality. To reproduce accurately, a small equalizer modification is needed from the device that streams the sound (ldac is canceled if done by the application or the device itself). Excellent noise canceling and passive sound isolation. Good microphone. Good build quality. Intuitive gimmicks in control. They work with all of these and with a cable (even when inactive, as traditional headphones).

    Negatives: It cancels its own ldac if you add an internal equalizer. In hands-free mode (headphones + microphone), they let in a bit of ambient sound through the speakers, as if you had activated ambient sound at a low level ~ this is hard-coded and unfortunately cannot be changed despite users' complaints. Android devices have issues with their own stream of sound when used in hands-free mode, so good luck bypassing the issue... The touch controls are not very convenient. The microphone does not work through the cable (even if it is TRRS / 3 bands).

    I am a frequent flyer and a good pair of noise-canceling headphones is essential for me. In recent years, I had the Bose ones which I loved because they did their job perfectly and made long flights a breeze (at least when it came to noise). On the last black Friday, I decided to change my mind and try the Sony ones that I had read such rave reviews about... The price of €249 was a big incentive, so I went ahead and bought them. From now on, all I can say is that Bose is amazing until someone tries the Sony ones. Shock and awe! Build quality, unbelievable 360 sound, clear and powerful bass, and the noise-canceling is magical! Clearly one of my best purchases in recent years! Go for it!
