The Saratoga spray detects leaks and is used to test the tightness of LPG and propane systems and cylinders, as well as compressed-air tanks and systems. It can also be used on medical gas lines and cryogenic and industrial gas systems, such as those carrying acetylene, hydrogen, argon, nitrous oxide, nitrogen, ammonia and propane.

To use, spray intermittently with the can held upright, after first cleaning the areas to be checked of oil, grease and dust. If foam forms, this indicates a leak.
