This product is excellent and does easily and quickly what it describes. It cleans any carbon deposit or buildup that has formed even with simple sprays on the Throttle Body. You first spray with the TB closed to clean the back side and then you need something to press the accelerator (with the key turned) so that the electronic system of the TB opens. After you press it and the body has opened, you can spray all around the tube where it was and perhaps use a simple cloth to wipe it. Once you have sprayed enough and it seems that no more black residue comes out, then wait a bit for it to dry. The next step, according to Liqui Moly, is to go and start the engine and keep the car's throttle pressed until the tachometer reaches just above 2000 rpm. While the engine is at this rpm, go back to the TB and do small sprays (in bursts) every few seconds until it is cleaned again. After this, reassemble the tube and the TB in their original positions and you will be almost ready. For those with an electronic TB, since the TB position will now change, the car's ECU needs to relearn this new position. You can do this in two ways: a) With an advanced OBD2 Scanner Tool, which allows you to erase the learned values from the ECU and reset it, or b) by carefully disconnecting the negative terminal of the battery for at least a quarter of an hour. Be very careful, disconnecting the terminal will clear the car's ECU and all its settings will be lost (see radio, date, time, etc.). Finally, be very careful when using the liquid not to let it get on your sensitive parts, such as eyes, etc., because you will have problems.

Όσο βρίσκεται η μηχανή σ' αυτόν τον αριθμό στροφών, πηγαίνετε ξανά στο TB και κάνετε μικρά ψεκάσματα (σε bursts) κάθε λίγα δευτερόλεπτα μέχρι ωσότου να καθαριστεί πάλι. Μετά από αυτό, συναρμολογείτε πίσω τον σωλήνα και το TB στις αρχικές τους θέσεις και θα είστε σχεδόν έτοιμοι. Σ' αυτούς που έχουν ηλεκτρονικό TB, λόγω ότι πλέον θα αλλάξει η θέση του TB, χρειάζεται ο εγκέφαλος του αμαξιού να κάνει relearn την νέα θέση αυτή. Αυτό μπορείτε να το κάνετε με δύο τρόπους: a) Μ' ένα προηγμένο OBD2 Scanner Tool, που επιτρέπει να διαγραφούν από τον εγκέφαλο τα learned values και να κάνει reset ή b) να αποσυνδέσετε το αρνητικό τερματικό της μπαταρίας με αρκετή προσοχή για τουλάχιστον ένα τέταρτο. Μεγάλη προσοχή, η αποσύνδεση του τερματικού θα αδειάσει τον εγκέφαλο του αμαξιού και θα χαθούν όλες οι ρυθμίσεις του (βλέπε ραδιόφωνο, ημέρα, ώρα κ.τ.λ.).
