Toyota Avensis 2003, my idle RPMs were fluctuating around +-150 when the engine was warm. It didn't seem normal to me, so after doing some research, I concluded that I needed to clean the mass air flow sensor. I removed the sensor, which was covered in dirt, sprayed it with cleaner, and all the dirt came off. I let it dry for 15 minutes and then tested the idle RPMs with a warm engine. I couldn't believe it, I had solved my problem! The engine was consistently at 600 RPMs, no more fluctuations! I highly recommend it.
