    The movement is only automatic left right.
    Edit. It worked couple of times and now its just Red and some times has also blue. It seems the leds on the head they need to resolder them again. I will buy it again. Better to buy a moving head

    It rotates 360 degrees, so it needs to be in the center, otherwise you can place the ball to look up, so it will illuminate everywhere regardless of the direction it rotates.
    It has an option to light up according to the music playing.
    So far, I have used it at 3 small parties and it was incredibly worth it.
    For a budget of 50€, it is value for money
