The "Dictionary of Proper Names: Mythological, Historical, Geographical" was published in 1900 and is a reference work, a supplement to Greek lexicography, which includes all the names that appear in ancient Greek literature.
The author, Anastasios Konstantinidis, was born in 1846 in Cyprus. The son of a philologist, he also studied philology at the University of Athens, but did not pursue a career in education. He initially founded a small bookstore and publishing house, and in 1884 he acquired the large printing presses of Andreas Koromilas. He was one of the reformers of publishing in Greece. His collaborators included prominent figures of the time, such as Konstantinos Paparrigopoulos and G. N. Hatzidakis. One of his significant works was the publication of the Liddell-Scott Lexicon ("Great Lexicon of the Greek Language"). He passed away in 1901.
