  • Size

The number corresponds to the size and spool capacity of the reel. The larger the number, the bigger the reel and the more fishing line it can hold.

In addition to the number, we often see letters such as C, HG, XG, PG, S, D, DH, which refer to features of the reel such as the body type, reel speed, and spool capacity.

You can refer to the buying guide for more information.

  • Speed

The gear ratio or otherwise the speed, is the ratio of the handle rotation to the spool rotation of the reel. It shows how many times the spool rotates for each full turn of the handle. For example, a reel with a speed of 6.1:1 means that, in 1 full turn of the handle, the spool rotates 6.1 times.

Very good and high-quality mechanism. For jigging and vertical fishing, it is very good and it also has automatic programs for two other types of fishing. There is also a very good video on YouTube with instructions in Greek that helped a lot.

Rigid Frame

The hagane body is made from very durable aluminum or magnesium. This creates rigidity and strength while eliminating the elasticity of the body. The result is a solid body that supports and protects the internal gears and provides maximum precision in use.

S A-RB

The S A-RB bearings have high anti-corrosion protection and an additional shield against sand, dust, and salt. The S A-RB are used in mechanisms for sea fishing.

X-Ship

Technology that offers more stability as the spool gear:

  • Is positioned close to the main drive gear, thus transferring more power from the handle to the rotor.
  • Is supported by 2 A-RB bearings.
