It is not suitable for a pin in a fan motor. It becomes sticky. If you are also looking for a material to lubricate your fan in the bearing area, you might want to consider the Wd-40 Dry PTFE Lubricant Spray, alternatively a sure choice is Singer's Sewing Machine Oil.
