Serious construction, the screen is the most important asset, for browsing, studying, video streaming. However, it needs a case, as it appears fragile.

Very good build quality. The screen is one of the best I have seen on a tablet. It is very thin and light. The only downside may be the pre-installed apps that Samsung has, which are useless. For its price, I believe it is the only choice. Highly recommended.

I have it for about 3 months, bought it for media and internet.
Screen, OLED that you enjoy, bright with good color representation. Terrible touch response though with many false touches.
Satisfactory battery with fast charging, generally no problem.
Fingerprint, like Fasoulas' shots, 5 out of 10 success.
Camera: disgrace.
Processor: good if you want it for light tasks, like internet, YouTube, and Netflix.
Build quality: quite good.
It doesn't have a headphone jack, but it at least comes with a dongle in the package. It supports Dex, but I haven't tried it.
Samsung's UI is good if you get rid of the pre-installed junk.
Conclusion: a quite good solution for someone who wants a device for light tasks and media.

I highly recommend it, I previously had a Tab A 10.1 2017. There is a big difference in everything, even in the battery that lasts a little longer. Since I have purchased the Tab A 2019, I would say that there are huge differences from the screen to the sound. I think the numbers speak for themselves! If you are interested in playing games without lag and having a longer battery life, invest a little more in this. For casual users and gamers, the Tab A is definitely value for money.

P.S. The fingerprint sensor didn't impress me. On the other hand, the face recognition is quite good!

The AMOLED screen is worth every penny. The battery life is good so far.
It has a very thin and light construction, but I don't know what will happen if it falls.
Two problems have bothered me a lot because in the previous tablet of the same company I didn't have them, it has to do with the fingerprint to the point that I'm thinking of disabling it and with the wireless internet connection that has ruined the whole image for me.

Personally, if I knew that these problems were so intense, I wouldn't have spent this amount to buy it.

Big difference from the previous one I had (iPad mini). Fast, lightweight, amazing screen and colors. Definitely need to be careful not to drop it, because it is thin and seems delicate.

It is an excellent tablet. Fast, beautiful, and powerful. I have no issues, I just put a nice non-Samsung case on it and the screen turns off when I fully flip it back because it has a magnet. You can't disable it somehow, so either go with Samsung or try how it works correctly if you go with a 3rd party.

Simply EXCELLENT. I did not encounter any wifi signal difficulty. It's perfect. Better than my old iPad Air and definitely better than Huawei mobile and tablet. Day and night. Perfect sound. Amazing screen image. In a few words, it's worth every penny I spent. I haven't tried the camera yet, but it doesn't bother me. And the apps do not necessarily require consent to your information, like Huawei's Chinese ones. And even if you don't agree, they still install. One of the few times I truly enjoyed a purchase. I highly recommend it.

I have had it for a week, as soon as I bought it I immediately upgraded to Android 10, so I judge it based on that. First impressions are excellent, very slim and lightweight, compact and high-quality construction. The operating system runs quite satisfactorily based on the SoC and RAM it has. I have no complaints, what really impressed me and made me say it's worth the money are its speakers. The array of 4 speakers offers unparalleled sound quality and volume that I have never encountered in a portable device.

Because there is always a "but," I was disappointed with its screen, although the resolution is good, it has issues such as scroll banding in portrait mode, ghosting in very dark scenes, and blue tint when viewed at an angle. I don't know if it's my model or if it's the behavior of the AMOLED screen of this series.

Finally, because many users have mentioned WiFi signal issues, I have not encountered any problems.

- Unacceptable fingerprint sensor
- Problematic WiFi with frequent disconnections (do a search for "s5e WiFi issues" and you will understand)
- Classic endless bloatware from useless Samsung apps that cannot be removed

Two months later (fully updated device):
- The WiFi remains extremely problematic even after a Samsung update that claims to solve the issues
- The speakers and sound quality for music/movies are fantastic
- Mediocre microphone quality
- The AMOLED screen is fantastic and supports HDR, but the Netflix app does not utilize it on this model (see screenshot). However, at this price, if you want AMOLED, you don't have many options other than this model

Well, I have had the tablet for about 3 months..it is excellent especially for the 290 euros I bought it for.. It has an amazing screen and incredible sound..for the relatively simple use I do, it is excellent.. It is definitely not the fastest on the market but understandable with this price.. Anyway, I highly recommend it..

I have had this tablet for 6 months now and I have no words. The battery is very good, I charge it every 3 days with intense use. The camera is powerful with 13 MP, considering that expensive iPads have 8 or 12 MP. It is lightweight with a nice design and perfect sound with nice bass notes. The screen is amazing, you don't see any pixels and it is quite fast. One of the best products from SAMSUNG in my opinion, much better than the iPad Air and iPad. I highly recommend it

Beautiful tablet, amazing screen and sound but quite a few lags. The ram should have been at least 6 gb for such a tablet.

From the purchases I have enjoyed very much.
Excellent screen and sound. The DEX function is fantastic and the construction is very beautiful. I have stopped carrying a laptop on a daily basis since the day I discovered DEX.
The processor is relatively better than it appears at first glance on the specsheet.

Although I stopped using it in the first week, the fingerprint is perhaps the only thing I wanted better.

Good, but....
It has 4 speakers, but don't expect to enjoy sound, it's just acceptable.
The screen is ok high resolution and amoled, but... I notice blur in the texts when browsing, meaning it doesn't have such good clarity.
Memory management is not the best. It uses 2.5 GB of memory without any background applications.
Perhaps the worst of all is its relatively weak wifi, which I find unacceptable.

Very good choice for a tablet, excellent sound. On the negative side, the screen presents a jelly effect in portrait mode when reading texts, while there are now few applications optimized for tablets

Very good and fast tablet!
I tried it on a demanding game (Fortnite) and it plays just fine (on low graphics because the game doesn't allow you to increase them).
Very fast in browsing and overall in all its functions, with very good (and bassy) sound (for a tablet...) and very good screen resolution and clarity!
It is very thin and it would be good to combine it with a case (and a tampered glass)... I don't have an opinion on drops [and I hope I don't have any... :)]

Value for money? With the bands!

A crazy and literally featherlight (400gr) tablet from Samy with fantastic sound, a charger with 18w power stronger than the new S6, and a decent processor chosen by Google (this alone says a lot about the chipset) for its phone (pixel 3a xl) at a completely fair price!! (maybe for the first time...) After more than ten different tablets, I bow down to Samy. Get it and you won't regret it at all. Guaranteed!

Excellent tablet, it replaced my iPad 4 which I had for 8 years. Incredibly fast, amazing picture with fantastic color quality. But the most impressive thing is the sound!! You have to hear it to understand that there is no tablet at 430-450 euros with such sound quality. Truly an experience. I highly recommend it.
