That Dimitris Batsis was executed next to Nikos Beloyannis was not a coincidence. That a generation of Greeks ignored the existence of the book and its author was also not a coincidence: The "Establishment" had many and great guilt to be able to stand on Batsis' work and draw even a few lessons from it.
