This is a thematic game that combines strategy, cards, dice battles, and luck. Your goal is to try to keep some citizens alive who are trapped in a city during a harsh civil war. Your base is a ruined house. One round is equivalent to one day and is divided into various phases in which you must do specific things. In the morning, you need to reinforce your shelter, at noon, you need to eat, in the afternoon, you need to go out into the city for supplies, and at night, you need to face invasions in the shelter. During these phases, you use cards and many good but mainly bad things can happen. Also, many times, depending on the cards that come up, you will need to refer to a scenario book.

The construction quality is excellent.
The rules are understandable, although it is not the easiest game for someone to learn. When you play it twice, you have learned it, but still, in some phases, you may need to refer to the rules.
The difficulty level is very high, resulting in it being almost impossible to keep the people alive until the end. You can do everything right and open a card and disaster strikes, but that's war.
The duration is enormous. You can finish one day in an hour of gameplay, maybe even more. For this reason, the game itself provides you with special sheets where you can save, like in a video game.
The scenarios that can arise are many, so it is difficult to encounter the same situation while playing.
Attention: the game is not enjoyable.
I recommend it because it is very unique and extremely realistic. It can be played by one person.

Its theme is not easy and definitely not for everyone, the goal is survival and you will have to make difficult moral decisions that force you to really think about what a person is capable of doing to survive.
The game can end in 15 minutes - you can lose before even realizing what happened - or in 5 hours.
It is a board game, although based on a video game, it can offer you a better experience than a video game.

It is simply unique in its kind. Very good game. It literally puts you in the atmosphere of its scenario, which concerns the survival of civilians in a city under siege and enemy bombardments during a war.
You can start playing without reading the rules as it has a system that guides you, while there are also references to the rules during the game where necessary.
There is also a companion app for mobile or tablet that helps players during the game's progression. However, the app is not necessary to play.
A session with this game lasts a little longer than usual, but this is by no means negative because the scenario is very powerful. It can be played with one to six players. I usually play with two people and the average time it takes us for a session is about an hour and a half to two hours.
If you like cooperative games, it is a representative example of these games.

It is a thematic game that creates atmosphere and rewards you by revealing how things are not so easy in difficult survival conditions, and how even the smallest detail has its consequences...
