Covers topics of space technology related to the analysis and calculations of microwave coupling for television. The 1st chapter develops elements of space technology. The 2nd chapter describes and develops elements of microwave coupling. In the 3rd and 4th chapters, the elements of the 2nd chapter are gradually correlated for the calculation of the satellite television system and interference cases. The calculation includes examples of reception systems that are of practical interest for the Greek space.

In the second edition, the structure has changed and in the second part of the book, topics of digital satellite television are covered, from basic principles to the European DVB-S system with digital calculations of the satellite axis. At the end of the book, there are 6 appendices with various supplementary elements, as well as an English-Greek and Greek-English technical dictionary.
