Characteristics
Ruby-colored wine with violet highlights. Both aromatically and taste-wise, it expresses the fruity character of the variety combined with earthy aromatic notes, spice notes, and rose. It stands out for its very good structure and refreshing acidity, which makes it particularly enjoyable with food.
Winemaking
Destemming, crushing, and extraction lasting until after the end of fermentation, which lasted a total of 27 days. During this time, there were 2 immersions of the "cap" per day. The fermentation temperature was maintained between 15º and 25ºC, and immediately after the end of the extraction, the wine was transferred for maturation into 300-liter French oak barrels (Nevers, Light Toasting) where it remained with the lees for two months. Subsequently, barrel maturation continued for another 21 months.
Rossiu di Munte: Red of the Mountain in the Vlach local dialect. Expressive Pinot Noir with a strong imprint of its Limited Edition area.
