With the initial measurement of D3 at 13, taking 1½ pills per day (3000iu) consistently for over a year, I reached about 45. Another individual may need a little more or a little less to achieve desired levels. Nevertheless, it does the job. I should note that I never stop taking the vitamin and I won't stop.

I have been taking this particular supplement for about 4 years. For so long, I thought I was taking a quality product and at the same time supporting a Greek company, so I felt good. However, just today I discovered that the second ingredient of the product is (maltodextrin) which is insidiously referred to as processed starch/modified food starch in English. It is a substance that is an over-processed polysaccharide, which spikes blood sugar (it has a higher glycemic index than white sugar). Besides that, I saw that it contains talc (!), sucrose (which is processed white sugar), and other nice things like that. I must say that despite the daily consumption of half a tablet with absolute consistency after a fatty meal, I have not seen a dramatic difference. The last blood test I had done a year ago showed 38.8 ngr/mL, when the sufficiency ranges from 30 to 100 ngr/mL. Once the batch I have is finished, I will switch to a brand that does not contain such substances. With a little searching, I found that there are several better options at a similar price. The 2 stars are simply because it met my sufficiency, so it did something. Nevertheless, I would suggest you look for something better. Note: It also has the least effective form of vitamin K2, in the MK-4 form and not in the MK-7 form

Μόλις σήμερα όμως ανακάλυψα ότι 2ο συστατικό του σκευάσματος είναι η (μαλτο)δεξτρίνη (που ύπουλα αναφέρεται ώς επεξεργασμένο άμυλο/modified food starch στα αγγλικά). Πρόκειται για μια ουσία που είναι υπερεπεξεργασμένος πολυσακχαρίτης, ο οποίος ανεβάζει απότομα το σάκχαρο (έχει μεγαλύτερο γλυκαιμικό δείκτη και από τη λευκή ζάχαρη). Εκτός αυτού είδα ότι περιέχει talc (!), σουκρόζη (επεξεργασμένη λευκή ζάχαρη δηλαδή) και άλλα τέτοια ωραία πράγματα. Έχω να πω πως παρά την καθημερινή κατανάλωση μισής ταμπλέτας με απόλυτη συνέπεια μετά από λιπαρό γεύμα δεν έχω δει δραματική διαφορά. Η τελευταία αιματολογική εξέταση που είχα κάνει πριν ένα χρόνο έδειξε 38.8 ngr/mL, όταν η επάρκεια κυμαίνεται από 30 έως 100 ngr/mL. Μόλις τελειώσει η παρτίδα που έχω πάρει θα αλλάξω σε μάρκα που να μην περιέχει τέτοιες ουσίες. Με λίγο ψάξιμο είδα ότι υπάρχουν αρκετές καλύτερες επιλογές και σε παρόμοια τιμή. Τα 2 αστεράκια απλώς επειδή με κάλυψε στην επάρκεια, οπότε κάτι έκανε. Παρ' όλα αυτά θα σας πρότεινα να ψάξετε για κάτι καλύτερο.

The only annoying thing is that the other one is not 2000IU but 4000IU and I have to split the pills in half with the usual tool.
