Description

The Tenda MW5 access point is useful for creating or extending a wireless network to connect multiple devices. It supports WiFi mesh, which means a comprehensive home WiFi system with multiple access points designed to eliminate dead zones and provide seamless WiFi at home, with higher speeds and more devices.

It broadcasts a signal on two frequencies, 2.4 & 5GHz, offering higher speeds compared to single band and the ability to connect more devices. The 2.4GHz frequency is the most widespread and has a long range, while the 5GHz provides higher speed but is more sensitive to obstacles, such as walls, which reduce its range.

The repeater can offer up to 1200 Mbps in total to connected devices, with the actual speed shared among devices being closer to 200 Mbps. It is Wi-Fi 5 generation, the most widespread Wi-Fi standard, which can meet the needs of most users for now.
