Quite light compared to a 25-year-old Siemens (30L) I had brought from Germany. The main cage (housing) is metal (or aluminum), the door is plastic. The interior space of the chamber is quite easy to clean from grease, etc. Very satisfactory lighting (cool white). Quite a few programs for cooking, defrosting.
Touch buttons, audible confirmation when a command is entered and audible notification when the program is completed (after all, LG is used to this). I don't know if the sound alert can be turned off, but I don't care at all (obviously it can be turned off).
The fact that it is light means it can also be placed higher up on the counter with wall mounting brackets.
VERY short power cord.....(this annoyed me)....!!!! So I installed an outlet behind the fridge so it could be powered.
