  • Continuous disconnections, pure hassle the installation and reconnection after each disconnect. The good image day and night doesn't make you feel at all compensated compared to its other negatives. Also, very expensive. Stay away!

  • The most useless thing ever
The recording costs extra and it doesn't even record, it keeps disconnecting.
We changed the router because we thought that was the problem. Unfortunately, the issue was not resolved. We didn't mind paying the extra 7 euros per month, per camera, for continuous recording.
Unfortunately, someone stole the flowers from our yard and we realized that the camera didn't capture the crucial minutes when the theft occurred. Shocked, we looked at the rest of the recorded video and realized that the recording stops intermittently for several minutes, approximately 2 minutes every 30 minutes there is no recording at all.
Unfortunately, after a break-in at our house, we bought cameras for both the office and the house. We regret it. Choose another company. After 1 year of use, with 6 cameras and 6 motion sensors, we do not recommend this product to anyone.

I have had this camera for over 3 years. It works flawlessly.

    The negatives are as follows:
It requires a very good internet connection of over 50Mbps to work smoothly, otherwise its response is slow. I have a 100mbps connection, but due to distance and the use of a wifi extender, the speed drops to around 24Mbps and it operates marginally.
While the siren is very loud, the speaker for remote communication is very weak.
There is a significant delay of about 5 seconds in the microphone's audio. It may be due to my connection, but such a long delay is not justified.
It has false alarms caused by the reflection of lights from cars at night or from the sunlight reflecting off car windows on sunny days. This happens even though I have set it to the lowest sensitivity. The result is numerous fake alarms, which become tiresome, annoying, and ultimately unreliable and non-functional because you stop monitoring it after a certain point. However, if you want to install it in a location without car traffic, it will work flawlessly.
It does not have the option to automatically activate the siren. It sends you a notification and you have to activate it yourself. However, this is better because with so many false alarms, I would have a serious problem with my neighbors.
It does not have a built-in battery, so it deactivates when the power is cut.

    The positives are:
    It is reliable and well-built.
It has never disconnected from the wifi. And if it has, I haven't noticed because it reconnects automatically.
The image quality is satisfactory, although it is not Full HD.
You can see in color even in complete darkness if you want.
It has options to adjust sensitivity and motion detection zones.
It has an alarm in case someone hits it.
It has a built-in microphone and speaker for communication.
It can be connected to the lighting system to function as a photocell with settings for light sensitivity, duration of lighting, and the option to activate the lighting or not during an alarm or motion detection when the alarm is deactivated.
The lights and sound turn off when the camera is opened.
It has a calendar for scheduling when the alarm should be activated and deactivated.
It has different profiles for acquaintances, neighbors, family members, etc.
It can function without a subscription, but it does not retain a large history, so it is better to have a subscription, which is affordable and also allows you to receive email notifications and store the video in your own cloud outside of Somfy.
Overall, it has everything you might need.

Overall, I am satisfied. However, I'm not sure if it is worth the price. I haven't tried any other cameras, but from what I see, there are now many cheaper options that offer the same features. So, it might be worth trying a cheaper solution.

The only issue we noticed is the sound, sometimes it gets lost and you can't hear it from the microphone, maybe it needs a restart. Also, when you receive a notification and you don't enter the application a second time, maybe it won't come to you. I got it for a much lower price, at 176, as it was on sale. The good thing is that it has a 5-year warranty

The camera's black is terrible. Four cameras were installed in a cottage.
    Positives:
    Good image quality
    Strong alarm
    Easy installation
Wide range of functions from the application
You can connect a projector on it and it will turn on when it detects motion.

    Negatives:
    Only WiFi connection
If you don't have at least a 50 Mbps line, don't expect to see image quality.
In HD+ quality, it simply never loads.
Frequent disconnections even on the camera that is 3 meters away from the router.
A repeater was used for a camera that is far away, one connects and one doesn't.
The system where you speak and it is heard from the camera's speaker is extremely tragic.

It's not worth the money for any reason.

In order for the camera to provide a smooth image without interruptions, you will need a 50mbps internet connection, otherwise, with a 24mbps connection, it will load and delay. The software of somfy is relatively slow. The negative aspect is that the siren is activated only by the user in case of intrusion, who must permanently have their mobile data or Wi-Fi open to be notified, while I would prefer the option for the siren to be activated automatically in case of intrusion. It would also be great if it had the ability to send SMS notifications in case of intrusion without the need to constantly have data open. Night lighting will provide a good image only if there is external lighting around the house; otherwise, in complete darkness, it will not provide a good image.

On the positive side, it has a siren, microphone to speak from your mobile to the area where the camera is installed, as well as headphones to listen to sound in addition to the image, but all these features are fully utilized with a 50mbps connection. Smart activation and other options are very good. The image quality is very good with zoom capability.
