We’re talking about model 1185. Acquaintances gave it to me, complete and in working condition, with all its accessories. At first I didn’t understand why, but now I know. It does work, but here comes the but. Every single food has a metallic taste that I can’t understand where it comes from. I also have an air fryer, which isn’t perfect either, meaning these appliances aren’t suitable for all foods, but at least that one doesn’t give food such a metallic taste that you can’t eat it.. Now I’m thinking of getting rid of it too, as it’s pure despair. The bottom heating element has burnt grease and traces of rust, but the screws won’t come undone no matter what so I can clean it. If I had to guess, I’d say the quality of the materials, meaning the iron used, is very low quality... Truly a great pity for a device that looks whole and solid for such a thing to happen... If we’re now eating traces of rust as I read in the comments, then it’ll go on the shelf until I figure out what I’m going to do with it... From all this, though, robot & air fryer, I’ve concluded one thing. As I said, they don’t work for all foods... Nothing beats the frying pan and the oven!

It doesn't bake from the bottom, so I have to flip them, which means I can't bake pizza, cake, omelette, etc. It bakes very well on top though. Too bad!

I had a Ronson robot for 7 years until it broke, and I bought this one, but it burned out in 2.5 months. It's completely fake.

It is a wrong purchase for one reason. Under the lid, the metal parts, especially the fan, have rusted a lot and rust falls into the food, which we took a long time to realize and ate for a while from the unacceptable construction. As a machine, it is very good but ... look for stainless steel parts.
