To be objective, I will say that I only bought it once in the 5kg packaging. The reason for the 1 star is that as soon as the package was opened, there were clumps the size of mandarins of food stuck together with mold. I contacted Farmina and although they were quite polite, after 4 emails and two phone calls we had, they indirectly acknowledged the food spoilage and threw the problem back at me to contact the store where I bought it for a replacement. Also, when I asked if I should consult a vet for my cats who had already eaten the food before I discovered the mold, they avoided giving any answer.
By the way... the store had not informed me about it (even though they had been given the details). However, the food was eventually replaced solely by the initiative of the store where I purchased it.
Farmina was also never asked to collect the spoiled food for further inspection, which concerns me because I am very sure that the mold did not only affect my package but probably the entire batch (LOT 22042H5287 with expiration date 11/8/23), and it also concerns me even more about the quality control they perform. I should note that the food had been stored sealed in a cool, dry place, away from moisture, so it is unlikely that the storage on my part was to blame, and obviously the expiration date had not passed.
Personally, no matter how much my cats liked this particular food (I had tried samples from the company), I will not buy food from this company again.

Ο λόγος για το 1 αστέρι είναι ότι με το που ανοιχτηκε η συσκευασία υπήρχαν μέσα σβόλοι σε μέγεθος μανταρινιου τροφής κολλημένης μεταξυ της απο μούχλα. Έγινε επικοινωνία με την Farmina και ενω ήταν αρκετά ευγενικοί, μετα απο 4 email και δύο τηλεφωνικές κλήσεις που είχαμε, ανγνωρίζοντας μόνο έμμεσα την αλλοιωση της τροφής, πέταξαν το πρόβλημα στο να απευθυνθώ στο κατάστημα που την αγόρασα για αντικατάσταση. Επίσης σε σχετική ερώτηση για το αν πρέπει να κινηθω με κτηνιατρο στις γάτες μου που ήδη είχαν προλάβει να φάνε απο την τροφή εως ότου προλάβω να διαπιστώσω την μούχλα, αποφεύχθηκε να δωθεί οποιαδήποτε απάντηση.
Παρεπιπτόντως...το κατάστημα δεν το είχαν ενημερωσει σχετικά (ενώ τους είχαν δοθεί τα στοιχεία). παρόλα αυτά ωστοσο, η τροφή εν τέλει αντικαταστάθηκε καθαρά απο πρωτοβουλία του καταστηματος απο όπου την είχα αγοράσει.
Επίσης δεν ζητηθηκε ποτέ απο την Farmina να παραλάβουν την αλλοιωμενη τροφή για περαιτέρω έλεγχο, κάτι που με προβληματίζει καθώς ειμαι πολυ σίγουρος ότι η μούχλα δεν αφορούσε μόνο την δική μου συσκευασία αλλα μάλλον όλη την παρτίδα (LOT 22042H5287 με ημ. λήξης 11/8/23), και που με προβληματίζει επίσης ακόμη περισσότερο για τον ποιοτικο έλεγχο που κάνουν. Να σημειωσω ότι η τροφη είχε αποθηκευθεί σφραγισμένη σε σκιερή, στεγνή, και μακρυα απο υγρασίες τροφημοθήκη οπότε αποκλείεται να έφταιγε η αποθηκευση απο μέρους μου και προφανώς δεν είχε παρέλθει η ημ/νια λήξης.
Προσωπικά όσο και να αρέσε στις γάτες μου η συγκεκριμένη τροφή (την είχα δοκιμάσει σε δείγματα της εταιρείας), δεν προκειται να ξαναψωνισω τροφή της συγκεκριμένης εταιρείας.

My doctor recommended the dry food because one of my cats has chronic gastritis and I have another cat without gastrointestinal problems. They both eat this specific dry food (with quail) eagerly, resulting in the 5kg package finishing quickly. Vomiting has decreased and the condition has improved. I should mention that I mix this specific dry food with gastroindestinal royal canin for cats, after consulting with the veterinarian. This way, I achieve the desired result.
