The advantage that brushless motors have over brushed ones is that they do not have friction since there are no carbon brushes. Without carbon brushes, the motors are more efficient and have a longer lifespan as there is no wear (the carbon brushes in brushed motors wear out with use). They produce less noise, maintain constant torque at all speeds, do not overheat, and require no maintenance.

For its price, it's not bad but it has two major drawbacks that should be taken into account before purchase.
First, neither the blade, nor the intermediate handle, nor the handle at the end with the power button can be turned sideways. Therefore, you have to hold it sideways yourself, which can become very uncomfortable and tiring after a while of use.
Second, it is very front-heavy. Even if you put a large/heavy 4Ah battery, it still remains very heavy at the front, so you have to constantly hold it against you with a stretched strap, pressing it against your stomach or thigh.
Other than that, it does the job for amateur use, it even cuts branches over 1cm and the 2Ah battery lasts about 20-30 minutes.
