The Ugears Trimaran Merihobus wooden construction model takes the form of a multi-hull sailboat with an exposed mechanism. The build features details such as bulkheads, frames, beams, winches and rigging, while a small seahorse is carved into the bow.

The rudder moves via ropes that pass through the side floats, while the water foils on the floats provide stability and create the impression that the model is lifting up. The sails are removable, the boom is operated by a switch, and the anchor winch mechanism raises the anchor with automatic tensioning. The wooden parts are laser-cut from plywood sheets. Assembly requires no glue or special tools, and the step-by-step colour instructions are available in 11 languages.
