The Tokina FíRIN 20mm F2 FE AF lens is a fixed-focal-length wide-angle lens with autofocus, designed for Sony E-mount cameras with a full-frame sensor. Its ring-type ultrasonic focusing motor operates quickly and quietly, while the GMR sensor contributes to fast and accurate focusing. It is compatible with the Fast Hybrid AF system, DMF mode, and MF Assist mode for manual focus fine-tuning.

The optical construction includes two aspherical elements and three very-low-dispersion glass elements to reduce spherical and chromatic aberrations and distortion. Electrical contacts transmit data to the camera for correcting vignetting, distortion, and lateral chromatic aberrations. The lens also transmits focal-length data, allowing the camera’s in-body image stabilization to be used, while the aperture is controlled by the camera.
