    Not practical at all, its music is too loud for the baby and it doesn't have any volume control. Its light is not steady, meaning it flickers and doesn't provide substantial illumination. You can't see anything and it's annoying. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, we got it for free and it's still in its box, we don't use it.
