Machetes are one of the most useful tools in the world. They have cleared branches, weeds, and fiery paths, chopped wood, made shelters, harvested crops, and assisted in meal preparation, hunting, and protection. Special attention has been given to the SOGfari 18" machete to ensure that the weight is just right and the handles are comfortable for extended use.

The 18" knife blade is made from stainless steel with a black powder coating 3Cr13 with a hardness of 44-50 Rc. It features a working saw on the back of the blade. The handle is made from thermoplastic rubber with a non-slip texture and has a lanyard hole for easy passing of a cord. Extending from the back of the handle is a sharp slope for striking and scraping.
