Havana Club Pacto Navio is a unique rum that has matured in Sauternes barrels! 

Its name refers to an 1815 treaty between France and Spain, and the Sauternes-cask finish is a nod to the trade ships that would leave Europe filled with barrels of wine. 

Upon their return, the same barrels would be filled with rum, allowing them to impart their intense sweetness to the drink.

  • Character: Flavors and aromas of caramelized banana, roasted eggplant, and a strong hint of fresh citrus.

    One of the best and most aromatic rums from Cuba, I believe, is Don PAPA Diplomatico and Pacto. Simply put, I consider Pacto to be more aromatic and a very enjoyable drink. It pairs perfectly with Cuban cigars and is a premium choice that few are aware of
