The Hertz MLK 700.3 Legend car speaker set is a 2-way component system comprising the ML 700.3 Legend Extended Midrange, the ML 280.3 Legend tweeter and the dedicated MLCX 2 TM.3 crossover. The crossover features a three-position Mid-Contour selector that adjusts the crossover between the midrange and tweeter, affecting the mid frequencies.

The midrange features an exponentially profiled V-cone® without a traditional dust cap, for sound dispersion and extended high-frequency response. The system can be combined with either an ML 1650.3 Legend or ML 1800.3 Legend woofer in a multi-amplification configuration. The single-crossover configuration limits phase rotation.
