The Tokina Firin 20mm f/2 FE AF is a wide-angle prime lens with autofocus, designed for Sony E-mount cameras. Its optical construction includes 2 aspherical elements and 3 low-dispersion glass elements to reduce spherical and chromatic aberrations and distortion. The ring-type ultrasonic autofocus motor works with a GMR sensor for fast and accurate focusing.

It is compatible with the Fast Hybrid AF system, DMF mode and MF Assist mode, which combines manual focusing with image magnification and a distance indicator on the screen. The electrical contacts transmit data for in-camera correction of vignetting, distortion and lateral chromatic aberrations. The camera also controls the aperture and, with focal-length data transmission, can use its in-body image stabilization.
