I preferred the low ones for more comfort, but on uneven terrain, my foot turns occasionally, so for more safety, the boots would be better. Finally, regarding the size, with 42.5 in sports shoes, my size 42 was big and I had to change them to 41. Obviously, because I have narrow feet, in this particular shoe, my foot lifts up from the back when I wear them, unlike the sports shoes.
