Every five years I buy a pair, I wear them from September to May every day all day and in the summer on Sunday trips to the mountain. They have performed excellently in everyday activities up to the climb to Mytikas, the peak of Mount Olympus. Κάθε πέντε χρόνια αγοράζω ένα ζευγάρι, τα φοράω από Σεπτέμβρη έως και Μάιο κάθε μέρα όλη μέρα και το Καλοκαίρι στις Κυριακάτικες εξορμήσεις στο βουνό. Στις καθημερινές δραστηριότητες μέχρι την ανάβαση στο Μύτικα την κορυφή του Ολύμπου ανταποκρίθηκαν επάξια. Ένα ζευγάρι παπούτσια που δεν φοράω μόνο όταν κοιμάμαι και το Καλοκαίρι όταν δεν πάω στο βουνό.
Well. The shoes are extremely comfortable in the sole (size 45) and slightly tight around the ankle. The laces have a very good tightening, they don't loosen at all and the tongue is attached to the rest of the shoe. It is also COMPLETELY waterproof. I mean, nothing gets through! I walked a kilometer with water up to and above the ankle and it didn't notice anything!
In the cold, it has no problem, I tested it at -10 degrees immersed in snow and with a thick sock I didn't feel the cold at all. On the other hand, in hot weather after 8 hours of hiking in Mount Olympus (with very rough terrain in some areas), my foot was completely dry, meaning it breathes very well (the shoe...). Finally, the sole is 10/10, the most comfortable I have ever walked in and completely slip-resistant. That's it.
*Also, because I have it in olive color, it is slightly darker than the photo.
Λοιπόν. Τα παπούτσια είναι ανετότατα στο πέλμα (45 νούμερο) και λίγο σφιχτά στον αστράγαλο. Τα κορδόνια έχουν πολύ καλό σφίξιμο, δε χαλαρώνουν με τίποτα και η ίδια η γλώσσα είναι ενωμένη με το υπόλοιπο σώμα. Ακόμα είναι ΠΑΝΤΕΛΩΣ αδιάβροχο. Μιλάμε δε περνάει τίποτα! Περπάτησα ενα χιλιόμετρο με νερό μέχρι και πάνω από τον αστράγαλο και δε κατάλαβε τίποτα!
Στο κρύο δεν έχει κανένα πρόβλημα, το δοκίμασα στους -10 και βυθισμένο στο χιόνι και με μια χοντρή κάλτσα δεν αισθάνθηκα καθόλου το κρύο. Στο άλλο άκρο, σε ζεστό καιρό μετά από 8 ώρες πεζοπορία στον Όλυμπο (με πολύ ανώμαλο έδαφος σε κάποια μέρη), το πόδι μου ήταν εντελώς στεγνό, δηλαδή αναπνέει πολύ καλά (το παπούτσι...). Τέλος η σόλα 10/10, ό,τι πιο άνετο έχω περπατήσει και αντιολισθιτική τελείως. Αυτά.
*Επίσης, επειδή το έχω σε λαδί χρώμα, είναι λίγο πιο σκούρο από την φωτογραφία.
