This book is a supplement to the book "Texts of Modern Greek Literature for the 1st Grade of High School, Volume 2: Tradition and Modernism in Modern Greek Poetry". It contains the answered topics of the corresponding thematic unit from the Topic Bank.

More specifically, the poems from the Topic Bank are presented along with the accompanying questions (a, b), while in some of them, two additional indicative questions (c, d) are added, which, according to the new evaluation method of the Modern Greek Literature course, are defined by the teachers to have the form of an Evaluation Criterion. The answers to the topics are given at the end of the book.

Regarding the content of the questions for the thematic unit "Tradition and Modernism in Modern Greek Poetry":

• From the Topic Bank, students are asked:

in question a to identify in the poem general characteristics of traditional or modern poetry (25 points).

in question b to highlight in the poem expressive means and expressive ways (metaphors, similes, images, elements related to language, such as formal, idiomatic, or anti-lyrical words, etc.) and to comment on their function (25 points).

• From the teacher, students are asked:

in question c to highlight in the poem basic characteristics of the literary movement (e.g., romanticism, symbolism, etc.) to which it belongs (25 points).

in question d to comment in one or two paragraphs on basic symbols or themes of the poem and to justify their answers with corresponding references to the poem (25 points).
