Yes, they may be durable, but it is not possible to spend 170 euros on boots and have them come apart after one year just because you sat in the sun for an hour. For me, it is unacceptable!

Bought in March 2015 and still wearing them!!! With countless hours of standing, walking, etc. with minimal wear despite the use... (the sole came off in one or two places externally, but the stitches prevent the boot from opening and with a visit to the cobbler for €10 and a tack, you have them for another just as long). Wide fit (probably one size smaller than what you wear in athletic shoes). As for the waterproof aspect, it applies to light rain and not if you step in deeper water for a long time that exceeds the height of the boot, which is why I give it 4 ⭐️... I recommend it!
