The series "Contemporary Social Sciences: Theory and Practice," directed by Professor V. Filias, is inaugurated by Papazisis Publications with a threefold goal:

To provide selected texts (Readers) from each social science, covering comprehensively the relevant scientific topics based on global literature.

To publish in Greek the fundamental scientific works from each branch of social sciences, whose absence creates significant gaps and allows for one-sided and supplementary scientific approaches.

To circulate serious research monographs, mainly by younger scientists, which remain unknown or (also) face the conspiracy of silence because they do not fit into any established logic and "top-down" accepted views.
