Excellent body, very delicate. The saltiness and the smoky element are noticeable just enough to leave you with a nice smokiness without overpowering the other flavors as they develop. In a measure, add 5 to 7 drops of pure water and enjoy it! Worth it and definitely at the price of 90€!

A rather distinctive and extremely salty whisky.
The aroma is salty and reminds you of the sea. There is quite a bit of sharpness and these two elements dominate. It is very lively and mischievous on the nose.
In the mouth, it is very vibrant and bites you. Saltiness everywhere that bites your tongue and cheeks. It is a little sweet but mainly salty with lots of spices and a bit of pepper. In the finish, there is again sea salt, pepper, and dryness.
I would not call it smooth by any means, but rather the opposite. It has a lot of nerve, a lot of salt, and many spices. It resembles an Islay whisky without the smoke.
Personally, I liked it quite a lot because I like salty whiskies. I would have preferred it to be a bit sweeter and smoother or a bit thicker and not so sharp in the mouth, but even so, it is quite good. An ideal whisky for the sea, accompanied by food. (2018 bottled)

Στο στόμα είναι πάρα πολύ ζωηρό και σε δαγκώνει. Αλμύρα παντού που δαγκώνει τη γλώσσα και τα μάγουλά σου. Είναι λίγο γλυκό αλλά κυρίως αλμυρό με πολλά μπαχαρικά και λίγο πιπέρι. Στο τελείωμα έρχεται πάλι αλμύρα θάλασσα πιπέρι και ξηρότητα.
Δεν θα το έλεγα σε καμία περίπτωση smooth αλλά το αντίθετο. Έχει πολύ νεύρο πολύ αλάτι και πολλά μπαχαρικά. Θυμίζει ένα ουίσκι από το Islay χωρίς καπνό.
Προσωπικά μου άρεσε αρκετά γιατί μου αρέσουν τα αλμυρά ουίσκι. Θα προτιμούσα να ήταν λίγο πιο γλυκό και απαλό ή λίγο πιο παχύ και όχι τόσο αιχμηρό στο στόμα αλλά και έτσι είναι αρκετά καλό. Ένα ιδανικό ουίσκι για τη θάλασσα συνοδεία φαγητού. (2018 bottled)
