I have had it for about a year. It works satisfactorily without any problems. The information displayed on the station's screen is necessary and quite accurate. I haven't measured it with other reliable instruments, but I haven't seen anything strange. They seem correct. You just need to pay attention to when it indicates the battery and change it without waiting for it to completely run out in order to continue connecting to the internet and transmitting data to the server. The batteries do not need to be replaced very often. Alkaline batteries last for months, about three months. However, it also depends on how far the station is from the external station and the WiFi.
Application on mobile and WiFi setup:
The setup through the application, as many have noticed, has some difficulties. It gave me quite a hard time. However, after it is set up, everything works normally.
I finally managed to set it up based on the instructions of the application for Android using an old Samsung Tablet, because it was impossible with the Samsung Galaxy S9+. However, I realized that it was not exactly the fault of the application or the station. It was due to the newer versions of Android. In other words, in order to complete the setup, the mobile phone must be connected to the station, which at that moment must be flashing the AP (Access Point) on the station's screen. However, when the mobile phone tries to connect to the station, it loses internet connection, so the mobile phone decides to use mobile data to have internet access, thus interfering with the setup process and interrupting it. That's why someone noticed that the setup was successful with an iPhone. I recommend disabling mobile data on your Android phone before starting the WiFi setup. This is mentioned somewhere in the instructions, but the instructions are for older versions of Android.
Just be careful not to accidentally change something since the AP website is in Chinese.
The statistics are not working?
So, after a few months, I noticed in the application that it stopped recording historical data and only showed the current data. In other words, when going to the statistics section, which displays the historical data in a graph, everything was empty. I looked back and saw that while it had data for the first few months, it stopped showing anything after 1-2 months. For months, I believed that the company had stopped recording or sending the data to the application. But I was wrong. When you first enter the application (at least in the current version), a message appears for a short period of time stating that you need to be patient and wait for the data to download. However, this process is extremely slow, and obviously, the problem must be with their server. It takes a very long time, maybe even half an hour, for 10 months of data. It slowly starts downloading them, but then it saves them on the mobile phone, and the next time it's okay. If you haven't accessed it for a long time or changed your phone, you won't see the new data unless you let it download for a sufficient amount of time. You have to set it to the month option and scroll back and forth to gradually see the data being downloaded. Or you can switch between temperature, humidity, or atmospheric pressure to update the screen. The refresh does not happen automatically on the screen.
Το έχω ένα χρόνο περίπου. Δουλεύει ικανοποιητικά χωρίς προβλήματα. Οι πληροφορίες που δίνει η οθόνη του σταθμού είναι οι απαραίτητες και αρκετά έγκυρες. Δεν το έχω μετρήσει με άλλα αξιόπιστα όργανα αλλά δεν έχω δει κάτι το περίεργο. Φαίνονται σωστές. Πρέπει να προσέχεις μόνο πότε σου δίνει ένδειξη για την μπαταρία και να την αλλάζεις χωρίς να περιμένεις να αδειάσουν τελείως για να συνεχίσει να συνδέεται στο Internet και να μεταδίδει τα δεδομένα στο server. Μπαταρίες δεν ζητάει πολύ συχνά. Κρατάνε μήνες οι αλκαλικές. Περίπου τρίμηνο. Εξαρτάται πάντως και από το πόσο μακριά είναι ο σταθμός από τον εξωτερικό σταθμό και το WiFi.
Εφαρμογή στο κινητό και η ρύθμιση του WIFI:
Η ρύθμισή του μέσω της εφαρμογής, όπως πολλοί έχουν παρατηρήσει, έχει κάποιες δυσκολίες. Με δυσκόλεψε αρκετά. Πάντως αφού ρυθμιστεί όλα λειτουργούν κανονικά.
Τελικά κατάφερα να το ρυθμίσω βάσει των οδηγιών της εφαρμογής για Android χρησιμοποιώντας ένα παλιό Samsung Tablet, γιατί με το Samsung Galaxy S9+ ήταν αδύνατο. Όμως κατάλαβα ότι δεν έφταιγε ακριβώς η εφαρμογή ή ο σταθμός γι' αυτό. Έφταιγε το Android στις νεότερες εκδόσεις του. Δηλαδή, για να γίνει η ρύθμιση πρέπει το κινητό να συνδεθεί με το σταθμό, που εκείνη τη στιγμή πρέπει να αναβοσβήνει το AP (Access Point) στην οθόνη του σταθμού. Όταν όμως προσπαθήσει να συνδεθεί στο σταθμό, το κινητό χάνει το internet, οπότε το κινητό αποφασίζει να χρησιμοποιήσει δεδομένα κινητής για να έχει internet κι έτσι παρεμβαίνει στη διαδικασία ρύθμισης και τη διακόπτει. Γι' αυτό κάποιος παρατήρησε ότι με iPhone έγινε η ρύθμιση. Προτείνω να απενεργοποιήσετε και τα δεδομένα κινητής στο τηλέφωνό σας Android πριν ξεκινήσετε τη διαδικασία της ρύθμισης με το WiFi σας. Αυτό κάπου αναφέρεται στις οδηγίες αλλά οι οδηγίες είναι για παλαιότερες εκδόσεις του Android.
Μόνο που η ιστοσελίδα του AP είναι στα κινέζικα και θέλει προσοχή να μην πειράξεις κάτι άσχετο.
Τα στατιστικά δεν λειτουργούν;
Αφού λοιπόν πέρασαν κάποιοι μήνες παρατήρησα στην εφαρμογή ότι σταμάτησε να καταγράφει τα ιστορικά δεδομένα και έδειχνε μόνο τα τρέχοντα. Δηλαδή, πηγαίνοντας στα στατιστικά που δείχνει σε γράφημα τα ιστορικά δεδομένα ήταν όλα κενά. Έψαχνα προς τα πίσω και έβλεπα ότι ενώ τους πρώτους μήνες είχε δεδομένα μετά από 1-2 μήνες σταμάτησε να δείχνει οτιδήποτε. Για μήνες πίστευα ότι η εταιρεία σταμάτησε να τα καταγράφει ή να τα στέλνει στην εφαρμογή. Τελικά έκανα λάθος. Όταν μπεις για πρώτη φορά στην εφαρμογή (τουλάχιστον στη τρέχουσα έκδοσή της) εμφανίζεται ένα μήνυμα για σύντομο χρονικό διάστημα ότι πρέπει να κάνεις υπομονή και να περιμένεις να κατέβουν τα δεδομένα. Απλά είναι πάρα μα πάρα πολύ αργό σε αυτή τη διαδικασία και προφανώς το πρόβλημα πρέπει να βρίσκεται στον server τους. Θέλει πάρα πολύ χρόνο, μπορεί και μισή ώρα, για 10 μήνες δεδομένα. Αρχίζει σιγά-σιγά να τα κατεβάζει αλλά μετά τα αποθηκεύει στο κινητό και την επόμενη φορά είναι οκ. Αν έχεις πολύ καιρό να μπεις ή αλλάξεις κινητό, δεν θα δεις τα νέα δεδομένα αν δεν το αφήσεις να τα κατεβάσει για αρκετή ώρα. Πρέπει να το βάλεις στη επιλογή μήνα και να πηγαίνεις μπρος - πίσω για να δεις σταδιακά να κατεβαίνουν τα δεδομένα. Ή να αλλάζεις από θερμοκρασία σε υγρασία ή ατμοσφαιρική πίεση ώστε να ενημερωθεί η οθόνη. Δεν γίνεται αυτόματα η ανανέωση στην οθόνη.
