Description

Description

The Notepal Coolermaster ERGOSTAND IV is an ergonomic cooling stand for laptops, with a stunning aerodynamic design and five levels of height and angle adjustment for comfortable positioning.

Keep your laptop's temperatures low with the ergonomic Notepal ERGOSTAND IV stand from Cooler Master.

Designed with high performance and low noise production (29 dBA) in mind, the stand features a meticulously designed 140mm fan for increased air flow of 46.8 CFM and a wide range of rotation speed (700~ 1400 RPM± 200 RPM).

The stand is covered with a high-quality mesh that ensures unobstructed airflow towards the most critical points of the laptop, while its dimensions of 370 x 265 x 40mm (LxWxH) make it suitable for use with systems up to 17 inches in size.

The 5 height adjustment levels for comfortable body posture, along with the built-in blue LED lighting and the USB hub that provides 4 additional USB Type-A ports, complete its advanced features.

In general, it is a very good construction, however my computer, despite being 15.6", protrudes a bit because in reality it has the dimensions of today's 17.3". I also greatly overestimated the size of the fan, but that doesn't mean it doesn't keep it at a good temperature, in fact its speed is adjustable. However, this results in noise where at low speeds it has a deep relaxing sound that does not go unnoticed, but at high speeds the sound becomes more annoying but it is something you get used to. Finally, the base is significantly raised from the level at which it rests, causing the laptop to be raised disproportionately more than the inclination it is set to.

It does everything it promises and the extra USB ports are very helpful. It has a setting for the fan, which makes minimal noise. I consider the price a bit high, but overall it is competitive.

Disappointingly, as a fan of the CoolerMaster Ergostand series, I ordered this specific product and unfortunately, when I received it, there was a broken piece inside that could potentially be dangerous if it goes into the fan. I sent it back and they sent me a replacement (I hope), but unfortunately, the product seemed to have been opened. Anyway, I hope this was just a problem with this specific product and store. A major drawback of the Ergostand IV is that you cannot remove the metal grille and clean it internally, also I'm not sure how long the plastic parts that hold the laptop will last without breaking with a 17'' laptop.

5/5, because it had many USB ports, like being a small cheap docking station
