The Hertz MP 300 D2.3 PRO passive car subwoofer features a cone made of compressed paper pulp with mineral powders and a V-cone® profile for increased rigidity. The IIR butyl rubber surround and Boundary Free Surround technology provide a larger radiating surface. The 65 mm four-layer voice coil is supported by a cooling and ventilation system with 10 holes in the bottom plate.

The anti-resonance aluminum alloy basket has six spokes. The push terminals feature short-circuit protection covers and accept cables up to 8 AWG. A damping gasket for mounting in the enclosure is included.
