The Hertz MP 250 D4.3 PRO passive car subwoofer features a cone made of compressed pulp with mineral powders and a V-cone® profile that increases its rigidity. The cone surround is made of IIR butyl rubber, while Boundary Free Surround technology increases the radiating surface without changing the diameter. The 4-layer voice coil has a diameter of 65 mm, and the dual 4 + 4 Ω impedance offers flexibility when connecting to an amplifier.

The anti-resonance aluminum alloy basket has 6 spokes. The cooling system includes vents behind the voice coil winding and 10 vents in the bottom plate, providing better air circulation and a lower operating temperature. The solid push terminals have a short-circuit protection cover and accept cables up to 8 AWG. A rubber damping ring is included for mounting in the enclosure.
