This is the classic self-priming pump, DOUBLE ACTION side water ring. This hydraulic feature gives it an excellent self-injection capability, even with intermittent availability in the suction of the liquid to be transferred (presence of air or other gases).

It is particularly recommended for the transfer or transportation of clarified liquids such as: WINE - MUST - MILK - VINEGAR - SALTY AND BRACKISH WATER - OIL, with a viscosity not exceeding four degrees ENGLER or thirty degrees CENTISTORES. The liquids to be transferred must be neutral and clear or contain only a small percentage of suspended solids (at most 0.2 – 0.5%) with hardness and granularity characteristics such that they do not cause wear on the internal friction surfaces of the pump. In borderline cases, a tight mesh filter may need to be placed on the suction pipe.
