The present work "Civil Medical Liability Traditions - Dialogue with Jurisprudence" moves along two axes: on one hand, highlighting the overall evolution of medical liability in legislative, jurisprudential, and theoretical terms over the last two decades, and on the other hand, covering issues that have emerged as interesting and particularly of practical significance. A key choice was to maintain a brief and concise presentation, without extensive analyses, and to emphasize the connection with case law. As the title suggests, the book aims to address educational needs to some extent. However, it primarily seeks to convey, in a succinct yet comprehensive manner consistent with the doctrine of civil law, the fundamental reflection of Greek civil medical liability law. Based on the above, the choice to make specific references only to judicial decisions, particularly the most recent and interesting ones, is explained, while theoretical development is highlighted through bibliographic tables.
