For basic use, it's fine with an i3, not for a more powerful CPU as it will struggle. The only drawback is that this specific one doesn't have onboard HDMI. Also, it may not have an M.2 slot, but by putting an M.2 NVMe disk in a PCI-E adapter in the PCI-E x1 slot of the motherboard, it recognizes it and boots normally. Basically, it's a stopgap solution if you have an old 8th-9th generation motherboard that has burned out.

Everything is fine. At work, we have 75 HP computers with the i3-8100 processor. In one, it seems that the motherboard failed, as no tests with "transplants" worked. To not waste the i3 and the memory (and the disk), I bought this motherboard and it's OK!
The only mystery was the little cooler from HP, which screws onto the motherboard and didn't have those plastic feet that open and lock onto the motherboard. But the male-threaded screws that are used to secure the motherboard to the chassis fit the screws from the cooler, so I used those under the motherboard. However, they protruded, and the motherboard didn't sit well. Then I used other male-threaded screws and raised the motherboard overall, from the screws that were already in the chassis. Of course, now the metal cover doesn't fit back on the ports of the motherboard and the chassis, but it doesn't matter; it works just fine this way. Unfortunately, the HP power supply is not a common type, so it didn't fit either the motherboard (plugs) or another chassis. Bad idea from HP and every HP.
Μια χαρά. Στην δουλειά έχουμε 75Η/Υ της HP με τον i3-8100 επεξεργαστή. Στον 1 φαίνεται πως χάλασε η μητρική, αφού ότι τεστ με "μεταμοσχεύσεις" έκανα δεν δούλευε. Για να μην πάει χαμένος ο i3 και η μνήμη (και ο δίσκος), αγόρασα αυτήν την μητρική και ΟΚ!
Ήταν μόνο μυστήριο το κουλεράκι της HP, το οποίο βίδωνε στην μητρική και δεν είχε αυτά τα πλαστικά πόδια που ανοίγουν και φρακάρουν στην μητρική. Αλλά οι αρσενικοθύλικες βίδες που είναι για να δένει η μητρική στο σασί, ταιριάζανε στις βίδες από το κουλεράκι και έβαλα τέτοιες κάτω από την μητρική. Αλλά εξείχαν και δεν καθότανε καλά η μητρική. Τότε χρησιμοποίησα και άλλες τέτοιες αρσενικοθύλικες βίδες και ανύψωσα συνολικά την μητρική, από τις βίδες που ήταν ήδη στο σασί. Πλέον βέβαια δεν ταιριάζει το μεταλλικό καπάκι πίσω στις θύρες της μητρικής και του σασί, αλλά δεν πειράζει, δουλεύει μια χαρά και έτσι. Το τροφοδοτικό της HP, δυστυχώς δεν είναι κοινού τύπου, οπότε δεν ταίριαζε ούτε στην μητρική (βύσματα), ούτε σε άλλο σασί.. Κακή ιδέα της HP και κάθε HP.

The temperature is perfect, I thought that because it doesn't have heatsinks on the VRM it would have high temperatures, but it surprised me, it doesn't increase at all for a motherboard with exposed VRM

Ήταν μόνο μυστήριο το κουλεράκι της HP, το οποίο βίδωνε στην μητρική και δεν είχε αυτά τα πλαστικά πόδια που ανοίγουν και φρακάρουν στην μητρική. Αλλά οι αρσενικοθύλικες βίδες που είναι για να δένει η μητρική στο σασί, ταιριάζανε στις βίδες από το κουλεράκι και έβαλα τέτοιες κάτω από την μητρική. Αλλά εξείχαν και δεν καθότανε καλά η μητρική. Τότε χρησιμοποίησα και άλλες τέτοιες αρσενικοθύλικες βίδες και ανύψωσα συνολικά την μητρική, από τις βίδες που ήταν ήδη στο σασί. Πλέον βέβαια δεν ταιριάζει το μεταλλικό καπάκι πίσω στις θύρες της μητρικής και του σασί, αλλά δεν πειράζει, δουλεύει μια χαρά και έτσι. Το τροφοδοτικό της HP, δυστυχώς δεν είναι κοινού τύπου, οπότε δεν ταίριαζε ούτε στην μητρική (βύσματα), ούτε σε άλλο σασί.. Κακή ιδέα της HP και κάθε HP.

Καταλαβαίνω ότι είναι οικονομική και δεν έχει απόλυτος τίποτα πέρα από τα βασικά . Δεν περίμενα όμως να μην βγάλει ούτε χρόνο.
Easy installation and also functional and user-friendly. Currently working perfectly. The only complaint is the lack of an HDMI port, which should be present in all motherboards on the market today.
