Description

Description

This book focuses on the main chapters and the issues related to the most common grammatical, spelling, and ultimately linguistic and expressive mistakes today. For this very reason, it does not emphasize grammatical types and the enumeration of rules as much.

It aims to re-establish the connection between grammar and language, as a living and evolving organism. Language as a daily necessity for correct expression, far from the poverty of vocabulary that unfortunately distinguishes us now, but also from so many linguistic constraints, mistakes, or awkwardness we encounter almost everywhere around us.

Through everyday texts and examples of sentences and expressions, it identifies the most frequent mistakes in order to lead to a rich, flowing, and 'unwarped' written and spoken expression. Therefore, it treats grammar not as detached and sterile 'knowledge,' but as one of the pillars in the process of meaningful language learning.

It is divided into three main chapters, with a division chosen deliberately to provide both autonomy and unity to the entire effort: rules and tables - a variety of exercises (some less and some more 'academic,' to allow for choice) - useful supplementary material. Finally, in a separate insert, there is a correction of the exercises.

It constitutes a practical tool and at the same time an educational proposal, primarily for middle school students and teachers, within the framework of the Greek educational system or intercultural education. However, it is not limited to this audience. It also addresses adults, both Greeks and non-Greek speakers, who for their work, help with their children, and a thousand other reasons, wish for the correct use of grammar and language. This audience is presented with it, with a willingness for additions and improvements.
