The waterproof Cosmopor® Transparent is a sterile, self-adhesive transparent wound dressing, suitable for postoperative care of wounds with light exudation. It offers protection against bacterial penetration and is ideal for use as a sterile dressing for minor injuries.

The self-adhesive surface of Cosmopor® Transparent does not detach with sweat and is water-resistant. It ensures effectiveness without compromising the reliability of the product, and its properties include:

  • Soft fleece carrier and central wound pad.
  • Polyethylene mesh contact layer with fine mesh that prevents sticking to the wound.
  • Rapid secretion drainage due to the drainage effect of the micro-mesh.
  • Good absorbency and shock absorption.
  • Skin-friendly due to hypoallergenic polyacrylate adhesive.
  • Atraumatic removal without residues.
  • Porous adhesive gauze layer, hypoallergenic and air-permeable.
