Zarbis Camoil Johnz Alexandrian leaves are senna leaves, also known as Egyptian leaves, with the Latin name Cassia Officinalis. Traditionally, they are used as a herbal laxative, as the glycosides they contain stimulate the bowels and increase intestinal motility.
To prepare an infusion, add approximately 4–5 leaves to a cup of boiled water and leave covered for 12 hours. Then strain the liquid and drink it. Do not use continuously for more than 10 days, as bowel movements may deplete electrolytes and weaken the body.
