Description & Specifications

This essay considers that Faith constitutes the starting point of Reason. According to the respective Faith and Reason, man proceeds engaging with Nature through his symbolic institutions, such as Myth, Art, Religion, Philosophy, Science, etc.

Philosophy, after a journey of 26 centuries, is heading towards decline and oblivion, according to the grand figures surrounding us, many of whom have anticipated the end of History and ideologies, the death of God, and such. Yet, philosophical thought is far from being moribund. As our species evolves, alongside its endless Odyssey of questions, so too will Science – still in its infancy – walk hand in hand with myth and contemplation, the pioneering trackers who have opened wide the path for it.

The human here (always known) gradually expands. However, the beyond (remaining unknown) remains infinite for us. Might it be that the cold climate of the North, which 'magnetized' human civilization – whose dawn once took place in the tropical climates of the South – is nothing but the other side of the cold logic that has flattened instincts, dreams, and hopes?

The ideal world is nothing but a chimera of the spirit. Its momentary experience is the exception that confirms the unalterable rule of fluidity... However, the sunny day that follows the desperate darkness will forever mark our unquenchable hope!

... devising equations based on symbols and alternately inventing new dimensions, superstrings, parallel universes, wormholes, etc., we simply strive in vain investing the unsolved metaphysical beyond with ambitious mathematical disguises.
