The author: Yolanda Tsoroni-Georgiadis holds degrees from the Law School, the Pedagogical Academy, the Department of Education of the University of Athens, and has further training at the Marasleio Teaching School. She worked for many years in public education, writes articles for educational magazines, volunteers in organizations promoting literature, is an active member of the Women's Literary Society, and has published many children's books and folklore studies.
