    I don't have much to say, it's expensive without a doubt, but there are no alternatives (as far as I know). Other than that, it is a sturdy metal adapter from XLR to 3.5mm female jack. It converts the 12v - 48v phantom power of the audio interface to lower voltage so that you can connect non-condenser microphones, classic PC headsets, hands-free devices, etc. with a splitter cable.
