One of the printed materials that should be included in the educational package of a modern Chemistry textbook is the Solutions Manual for the exercises contained in the main textbook. This is because the reader who studies systematically and tries step-by-step to solve the exercises and problems of each chapter, in order to fully understand the new concepts and to "build" on solid foundations, wants confirmation.

The answers provided pertain, in order, to the Exercises that follow each Example in the book, to the Concept Understanding Checks, to the Review Questions, and to all the Problems that are at the end of each Chapter. These answers cover 283 Exercises, 90 Concept Understanding Checks, 492 Review Questions, and 2182 Problems.
