I have converted it according to a relevant video on YouTube in order to achieve a higher grind, but I am still not satisfied. In combination with the Gaggia Viva coffee machine and having tried many different single-origin and non-single-origin coffees! Many times I use the Bosch electric grinder, achieving a finer grind and getting a better and more standard result in my espresso!
I am thinking of changing the coffee machine, but I still believe I won't have the desired result...
Update: I managed to add another setting with another method..
Overall, I must have added about 4 grind settings! So now it grinds for espresso too!
But still, it should have the options from the factory and not have us tinkering with modifications!

I ordered this product from two different stores last month. In both cases, the grinder does not recognize the adapter for the dedica group, so I returned them as defective, as they were. They all just grind into a container. Very bad impression. I do not recommend it.

Nice machine, easy to use, but for the money, I expected it to have better grinding for espresso. A 20€ manual grinder, if you work it a little longer, will make your coffee into powder. This KG at level 1, which is the lowest setting, doesn't do the job. I wouldn't recommend it for espresso grinding

Έχω την DEDICA EC685. Πρέπει να κάνω το MOD υποχρεωτικά για να βγαίνει κανονικά ο καφές ;

θεωρητικά χρειάζεται μόνο στην περίπτωση που χρησιμοποιείς καλάθι φίλτρου με μονό τοίχωμα (όχι πίεσης). Αυτό δεν αφορά τα κανονικά εξαρτήματα της καφετιέρας σου που έχουν διπλό τοίχωμα. Βάλε στον μύλο χαμηλότερη σκάλα, μεγαλύτερη ένταση, ρύθμισε την ποσότητα δόσης καφέ λίγο μεγαλύτερη από την ΣΤΑΝΤΑΡΝΤ. Αν η καφετιέρα σου είναι καλά συντηρημένη και αν χρησιμοποιείς το μεταλλικο πατητήρι της ΝΤΕΛΟΝΓΚΙ (ή άλλο 51mm), το αποτέλεσμα που προκύπτει είναι εξαιρετικό ,μ με όλη τη γεύση και την κρέμα. Η χρήση μονού καλαθιού (χωρίς πίεση) δίνει θεωρητικά δυνατότητα πολύ καλού αποτελέσματος, αν το κόψιμο του καφέ είναι εξαιρετικό, αν το σπυρί που κόβεις είναι φρέσκο, αν έχεις μετρήσει με ακρίβεια τη δόση του καφέ, αν έχεις ρυθμίσει τέλεια τη θερμοκρασία και την ποσότητα του νερού. Με άλλα λόγια αφορά ερασιτέχνες με ιδιαίτερο μεράκι, χρόνο και έξοδα. Για όσους θέλουμε σταθερό και καλό αποτέλεσμα, αρκεί ο στάνταρντ εξοπλισμός (+ το μεταλλικό πατητήρι) και να προσέχουμε τα μηχανήματα να είναι σε καλή κατάσταση.
