The Scientific Society for the Study of Feres-Belestino-Rigas proudly and emotionally releases in Spanish the work of the revolutionary of the Balkan region, Rigas Velestinlis, "The Revolutionary Works," which includes the "Revolutionary Declaration," "The Rights of Man," "The Constitution," and the "Thourios."
In 1797, four years after the French Constitution of 1793, Rigas translated it into Greek with some significant additions, aiming to have ready the democratic form of governance, the "New Political Administration," for the post-revolution creation of his democratic state in the Balkan region.
This edition features an introductory explanatory text about Rigas's life and work, which contributes to understanding his revolutionary texts, his plans for revolution against tyranny, and the creation of a democratic state in the Balkan region, where all peoples will live harmoniously regardless of religion and language.
